Getting Here

Our Neighbors

Voodoo takes place in City Park, which is surrounded by many historic neighborhoods. Each year there are two world-class music experiences – technically one experience, one festival but you get the point – held in the area bringing extra traffic, pedestrians, sounds, and lights.

We work closely with our Nola neighbors. We all drink, sing, dance, and worship the music as one community. So we ask that you too respect their quality of life. Tell them hello, introduce yourselves and thank them for being gracious hosts. Do not block driveways and please use trash cans.

For your own sanity and safety, do not park on Bayou St. John, the neutral grounds or “the median” if you are visiting from out of town, any driveway or anywhere that has a posted no parking sign. You will be ticketed and/or towed. Trust us, going to retrieve your car from the City of New Orleans impound lot will not be fun, cheap, or quick.
